Sometimes it’s hard to “let it go.” How long have you heard the cliché just let it go?” It is much easier said than done. There are things I have been trying to let go since forever; especially bad habits. There are people that I have been trying to let go. But what I have realized is that when your emotions are attached to something it is difficult to mean it, if your heart isn’t in line with your thoughts. We harbor over things when we say, “I am done with it.” We think about it, we worry about it, and we even throw in possibilities of shoulda, woulda, coulda’s.
I have a friend that dated this guy for about two years, and like any couple they went through break-ups. But the very last time she decided to be done with him, she was. After being single for about six weeks, people would continuously ask her if she had spoken to him and one of the final times (because she didn’t want to hear about him any more); she asked “why are people asking me about him. I know we’ve been through this several times, but when I released him from my heart, I was through.” She let him go and her actions, thoughts and heart were all harmonious. My business partner and I coordinated an event several months ago. The producer of the event took forever to edit and provide the video footage. After tugging on their coat tails for about four months, we both gave up on getting the footage. The very next day, the footage was provided to us; edited to perfection!
It is important to LET THINGS GO!
When you do, you are making room for blessings, love, peace, and happiness. (TNG)
