As a writer, I am constantly reading and writing. Being that February is the month we celebrate my culture's history, it gives me the opportunity to learn more about women who paved the way for me to blog, become an author and screen play write. As I was browsing a site that speaks specifically about women and our History, I came across a quiz that gave information about Zora N. Hurston. The question made me want to inquire about her and what she represented --and OMG I was blown away. She was a phenomenal writer! Everything I am doing, she already did! She has written books, plays, novels and her personality was amazing. Get to know a woman of substance if you don't already know her.
